Need Assistance ASAP- CA 18 not starting

Can i get some assistance please. my partner has a CA18 in a RX2 and it isn't starting. He shut down for gas and after he filled in some in wasnt idling properly and then it stop starting. what can i do to help him. checked the pump and it it workin. what else can i do? thanks

do the usual, check for spark, check for fuel pump (i know, check it again)

check for injector pulse, if there is all of the above, should start. Ive seen instances where peoples timing belts are so far gone that they have pretty much let go when the person shut the car off. If alll else fails, make sure the cams are going (=
