hey i have the same problem what resistor is it? is it R20? do you know what causes this problem? i also think i might need an ecu as well but i would like to test my cas but i'm not sure how to test it. Do you happen to know how?

Without the dropping resistor your injectors are getting to much current and are not firing. the resistor makes it drop to low imped which is what is required by the stock injectors.

it may not be your ECU........just need a resistor.

I would replace that before you go trying to find a ECU as they are nearly impossible to find these days.

some people have tuned SR ECUs to work, but this requires a rom tune(not a huge deal just one extra step) because the ECUs are difficult to find.

if you are going to have to build your own wiring harness TOO, might as well do it right the first time and just go mega squirt and forget all the other non-sense.(wish I had)

ok so i should just replace the resistor? my ecu worked before for this and the green and red lights came on but i didn't know what the lights meant at the time. i don't have spark though. I've tested the coil packs igniter and checked all ground wires. they are all good. so would this mean its my crank angle sensor?

yes it was the R20 and i have heard that if you use the ka24de maf sensor it can fry it. I found a guy in japan paid $100 and got an new ecu.

for another 40 bucks you could have gone mega squirt and gotten rid of all your issues.

idk on this one........ I do believe if your coils are good, plugs are good, ignitor is good, and your wires are there...... the last step is grounding and ECU. you sure your ignitor is good? seems to be a common component to go bad or come loose
