Ok here's the problem I have, I just finished my 5 speed swap on my 95 S14, car ran perfectly fine for about a week now. So anyways, me and the GF go out for lunch today and when we go to leave my car decides to not start. I call her dad and him and her uncle come out and after screwing around with the top plug on the harness next to the engine fuse box (dk what it's called) we get it started. Upon further inspection we found that the plug is bad, so I need to replace it and re jump it. SO my car is running, then the GF asks well will it start now, and her uncle goes sure and turns it off and then nothing. There we are in the rain for like an hour trying to screw with the plug and still nothing. So I call AAA to get the car towed home, and then we try the last thing possible, we try to push start it, low and behold that works.

So my question is this, is it my starter? if so I have a new one that I can pull off my old KA block, its fairly new and I'm pretty sure its an OEM one, not an Autozone one since it was put in at a shop.

I still haven't wired the Neutral switch or 5th position switch into my 5 speed ECU so could that have something do with it? I read that they weren't needed same as the ASCD (which also hasn't been spliced)

I'm going to go pull the other starter in the morning and try to get it on, looks like it should be easier to get to the starter on the 5 speed engine than it will be to get to on the Automatic. So I'll try that and see if it works. But please help I need this carn to be running by Monday so I can go to my sisters for xmas.

Did it make any clicking noise or any noise at all? If not I'd check your connection's at the plug you jumped, sounds like a bad connection. Also check your grounds and wiring going to the starter. If you didn't tighten everything up when you did the swap something may have viberated loose since.
