Once the caliper is removed the rotor will slide right off of the lug studs. It is a free floating setup. If you are just replacing the pads then there is no need to remove the rotor unless you need to turn the rotors to true them up.

I dont know the current prices (havent had to get rotors turned in quite a while) but it usually isnt very expensive and can be done at many places including ones such as Autozone and OReilly (when I worked at an auto shop we had O'Reilly turn the rotors for us) but these places will need the rotors off the vehicle to turn them. Some higher end brake shops have a machine that connects with the hub of the vehicle and turns them on the vehicle which is supposed to macke the chance of having brake pulsing or a warped rotor even lower.

Just to let you know if you do not turn the rotors when you get new pads the chances of the rotors being warped and the pads being worn much quicker because of that is greatly increased.

I would replace them. I typically do new pads and Rotors, the OEM stuff usually does not leave much room for turning.... you can look at the rotor, there has to be a number stamped in it. that will tell you the allowable minimum thickness.

2yr warranty for 50 bucks ea, replace them.
