Whats up guys?? After searching and searching i just want an answer to my question so i dont have to keep searching for differ answers and so i dont even have to ask anymore. im getting KTS coilovers beggining/middle of August, soon as school money gets in. I originally wanted to run the 5Zigen GN+ Pro Racer wheels on my s13. I got help with the front offsets but no one could really tell me an answer for the rear. So after thinking about whether i really wanted those wheels or not i came to the conclusion that NO i really dont. I have now decided to save up for Gram Light 57 Pros. That being said ive searched and searched for offsets on 17x8 front and 17x9 rear offsets. Have found many different answers so i just want to know once and for all because i got to get this right the first time seeing how im going to spend $1,700 + depending where i get them. Now of all the searches ive found it seems every one is recommending 17x8 +35 front and 17x9 +38 rear. Now tire sizes recommended for those are 215/225 -45-17 front and 245/255 - 40-17. WILL those sizes be flush on an S13??? And 2nd are those the correct choices for tires??? Again i would appreciate a final correct answer regarding those sizes and offsets. Thanks for your help guys.

PS: Just looked for offsets on the rear and it looks like there isnt a +38 for the rear. They only offered +35 and +40. Which of those would be needed???

You can go WAY more offset all the way around.

Go for the +35, with 255's. You won't be "flush" but close.

My suggestion is 17x8 +25 and 17x9 +25 for stock fenders.

For s14 lower control arm (if you do Z brakes) do like a +30ish in front.

cool thanks for the answer man. Thats what i also left out. I was gonna ask if those will clear z brakes. Cant find any at the junk yards so i guess im just gonna get replacements at the auto store. Sorry for asking again or not really asking but just so im on the same page with you i should get 17x8 +25 front and 17x9 +25 for the rear and theyll be flush???? And clear z brakes. Thanks again AZHitman

PS - yes there gonna be on stock fenders. Dont mind pulling and rolling if needed.

1st, i take it youre 4 lug, but just want to make sure

2nd, and i think we asked this in the last thread...any specific reason you want a stagger? all it does is create unneccessary understeer, until youre making gobs of power, and can no longer fit a wider front tire

3rd, what kind of flush are you looking for? i dont think theres a single person on here that has the same opinion on what flush is as anyone else

have any pictures of another car with the fitment youre looking for by any chance? you have to remember, 57 pros are available in custom offsets, free of charge...so you can pretty base the size you get on the fit you want...not the sizes theyre available in

so anyway...if you could give more of an idea of the fit, that would help loads...and as always, a picture says a thousand words

EDIT: and just in case youre still worried, the exact numbers:

you can get 17x8 anywhere from +5 to +42, and 17x9 anywhere from -7 to +48

I got the 5 lug conversion so thats the first question. 2nd the only reason why i want those sizes is because i like the look of it. My car is completly bone stock well forget that i have a header and CAI but that dont make no difference but i dont really want the wheels for performance purposes. Just looks. I dont plan on getting any more power till maybe income tax so then i will finally get turboed so like i said just mainly for looks. 3rd..... I came from a honda background so i didnt pay no attention to offsets or what not but now that i learned alot more with these cars i dont want to look like i have FWD Wheels. As far as pictures go i can think of anyone right now id have to look and even if i found one i dont know how to post them on here id have to give you the name of the person. I just dont want them sticking out so far that i HAVE to get wider fenders but i dont want them sunken in either. Sorry if im making this complicated hopefully i can get you a pic soon or the name of a person that i would like mine to sit. Thanks again.

PS: I looked at your setup on the KA-T section beautiful work man. Thing looks awesome.

ooo my pics as examples already? I like.

Anyways, here are the specs:

17x9+20 all around with 235/40s

Front:-2 degrees camber, kts on full low.

When I removed the fenders were removed for wiring harness relocations, and I put the fenders on top of some towels, and went to town on the fender lips with a hammer. If you are careful and do it slowly and evenly, you get a perfectly flat roll, and it also produces some flare. This works far better than an eastwood or baseball bat.

Rear:-1.6 degrees camber, kts near full low.

I used an eastwood fender roller, and rolled the lips flat, and also got about 1/2 inch of pull.

No rubbing whatsoever, but keep in mind I did a ton of front fenderwell modifications to make these sizes fit with my car as low as it is, and still have full suspension travel, without any rubbing on the fender tubs or frame rails.

Its amazing what more camber can do for flushness. I run lower camber to save tires, but also to flush out my wheels a little bit more. Nice setup though mang.

-2 and -1.6 degrees is hardly anything crazy. It won't wear your tires at all, unless all you ever do is drive in a straight line.

No offence, but your camber settings are pretty freaking weak. You would notice a ton more cornering grip if you bumped it up more.

I suggest getting a 1 to 3 year free alignment program from a shop. I have a 3 year thing from NTB, and It allows me to go in as often as I like to mess with settings. I generally get it aligned like once a month to play with settings or to get them fixed after changing ride height. It's great.

So what did you decide on? 17x9 +20 235/45/17 all around?
