Hey guys, I'm considering buying a 1989 240SX that is in GREAT condition. I've never seen a 240SX from 1989 this clean before. The undercarriage is perfect, it's got a bunch of brand new parts on the car, engine only has 60k miles on it. The only thing that the car has on it that I'm worried about is that it has 190k miles on the body... I'm stuck in a rut, because the guy selling it has pretty much rebuilt the whole bloody car. He's spent ALOT of money on it, but it's a hobby that he needs to get rid of because him and his wife are having a new kid soon. They are selling it to me for 6,000$. Here are a list of the mods: -S13 Silvia Front End Conversion w/ Projecter Lights,-Jspec Nissan 180sx Tailights-17x9 Front and 17x10 Rear 5zigen fn01r wheels with Toyo tires-Tein HE Coilovers,-Apex dual tip exhaust,-Nismo Engine Mounts and Transmission Mounts,-Z32 300zx 30mm calipher Brakes, and steel brakes lines-5 lug conversion from Peak Performance-Vertex Front Body Kit, Ings Side Skirt, Msport WideFenders Front and Rear-Tein Tie Rod And here are some pictures:http://i16.photobucket.com/alb...t.jpg

I really need a 2nd/3rd/as many opinions as I can get on this, due to the fact that I am only 16 and I've saved all of this money by myself. I don't want to waste all of my hard earned money!

Whats it still got the KA24e in it?? If it does i wouldnt pay no $6000 for it..MAYBE $4000 if its as clean as you say..But you could find something cleaner and with a SR/RB/KA-T in it for that price..

It's got a brand new DOHC 1993 engine, the KA24DE. The guy showed me the inside of the engine yesterday, it's all clean. Clean enough to cook/eat off of it. No joke.

still ain't worth no 6k. I'd prob be willing to cough up 5k...TOPS if it's in as great of condition as you say and if he's got reciepts to prove the parts. Those body parts he's got could just be knock off parts so be careful. Otherwise it looks to be pretty good but for about 5k tops. No turbo, no big money IMO.

I've seen all the reciepts. They're all legit parts =]. The family that is selling it was going to use it as a track drifting car, but never had the time to do it. It's never been drifted, so it was just used as a daily driver.

Hm... Ok, I'll talk it over with them, see what they have to say. Thank you for your input!

Ok, so I talked to the guy again, and he said that it's 6k firm. He said that I can bring someone over or bring the car to a mechanic to make sure that it's going to be worth it. I'm going to take a family friend over there later today to check it out... I'll be sure to post an update.
