Need an exhaust for my 97 Pathfinder

My exhaust has gone to hell on my 97 Pathy, and I need to replace it all from the cats back. I've gotten estimates from $450 to $700. Is there a decent, cheaper way to do this? It would not have to be "stock" or a Nissan part. Thank you.

Take it to a local exhaust shop and get a quote. Avoid Midas or big-chain stores, they overcharge and often won't work with you on what you want.
