get an alternator from a KA works great had mine on my car for months. only mod you need to do it drill the threads out of the top hole. you will see what i'm talking about when you do it. Pop's right in no problem seems to charge fine with all my electronics. SafcII, TT and several others. you can get remanned one's for cheap or just find a guy with a used one, there all over. that's what i did

i personally like getting the sr alternator rebuilt, they can get them rebuilt to work twice or more better than the stock alt, and it costs about 100 works as well as the fancy alts costing 400

Ka alternators are much easier to source, And i'm not sure but I thought I heard somewhere they are more powerful. In any case, They work awesome and that's what we need right?

ka alternator and i had it for months. its easier to source then any sr alternator. i tapped the hole and run a 4 rib belt for bout a year. its about less then 100 at an autozone. im not running any audio or anything like that no ac. im not sure bout your car whether you need more amps or not. but yeah ka for sure. easiest to find
