Would 17 inch rims look good on a 240sx lowered with megan coilovers.Size is 17x8 + 38 offset front and 17x9 + 38 offset rear. They are black with polished lip and center is black mesh look like the old school volks.

17X8's are ok but I would try and get some 17X9's +15 offset. If you do decide to go 17X8's you are going to want +10 +/- 2mm

+38's are sunk and look like the USS Arizona on an S14.

Thanks man I like your rim setup on your 240sx. You dont mind if I use you as a consultant before I choose my rims just so I make a proper decision.

Thanks, sure you can get a consult anytime, that's what we're here for.

Just FYI.... my wheels are 17x9 +15 front and 17x10 +12 in the rear.

I suggest 9's all around, makes getting tires and other BS much easier.

I can't see the pics at work because our server blocks all the cool sites...Youtube, google video, photobucket.

However just by reading the number I can tell you this...

Don't go less than 8.0 inches wide. I see a couple that are 7.5 which is ok I guess seeing as how it's an inch wider than the stock SE wheels.

Also all those offsets are too shallow. I don't know what kind of flushness you are looking for but anything more than a +20 offset will look like doo doo. This however is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

How about this.... tell me what size and type wheel you are looking for and I will get back to you with some examples.

I.E. 5/6/7 spoke, mesh, spokes bow inward, spokes are flush and perpendicular to the rim.

Looking for a te37 concave spoke rim or a ssr sp1 professors with a decent lip. I will go staggered or non staggered with a con cave effect. It all depend on the rim, Even a desmond regamaster styled rim would be nice. Anyone have anyskyline rims for sale. lol

I'm not sure either because it depends on the spoke design of the wheel. If you call Work or whomever you plan on purchasing the wheels from they should be able to help you with that. +15 or less I'm guessing?

your set-up is nice, do you get any rubbing in the back, are your quarters rolled?
