hey guys my dad has sent me on a "Journey" lol to find my little sister a Z32. I found a 1996 Nissan 300zx NA, automatic with 70k original miles for $3,800.Its fresh off the auction lot. It was a theft recovery so it does have a salvage title. here are some things it needs:Driver side headlightBoth Seats cd player and trimmings that go along with itpower window switchesSome interior trimmings such as: the carpet and trimming right behind the seats.center console and trimmings surrounding the shifterits missing the carpet that covers the spare tire.

he told me he just made keys for the car and said it runs great at idle. The problem is that wheels and tires were also stolen off the car so its sitting on tires that do not fit properly and rub so it cant be driven unless the proper wheels are mounted. i can take the wheels off my Z32 and mount it on the NA temporarily to drive it around.

There is also a palm size dent on passenger door.

Was just wondering if this was a good deal. blue book value is about 11k for what ever thats worth. With all the trimmings missing could it be too much of a hassle?

^^^ Agreed. How old is she? If she is really set on getting a Z, get one that is in better condition. This one needs a lot of work.

she really really likes the Z32 just because of the looks. She is only 17. My parents wanted to buy her a volvo and she said .

Tell her to be quiet and take what her parents buy her. If she really wants a Z, she has to buy it herself.

sadly she has the excuse of "Why did u buy Ray a 300zx for his first car and his was a TT".

But really im sure i can get it for $3,000. 70k miles is quite low for a 300zx. I agree with u guys with not getting A z32 for her but if she is gonna get one i want one that is gonna be reliable. Its hard to find a z32 nowadays that is reliable for a descent price. And if it makes a difference it doesnt have to get on the road right away.
