Need advice. Used struts for the front is it the same for the 97 98 99?

Hey guys, As you know I got my 97 q45. It's needs a little work and don't want to sepn a lot of money, However, the more I DRIVE THE CAR THE MORE i'M ENJOYING IT!

So I need some confort and functionality to at least enjoy the car for at least a year. A friend called me and he knows a guy that has a 1998 and 1999 q45s.

I can get both front strut assemblies for $100. The right door outside bottom trim and probably the harness for the cluster/ ac and radio (cause in mine they were ripped out so there is cables everywhere and i DON'T KNOW which one go where. I figure that even if I cut the ends of the donor car I can patched them up by collor and i will at leats have me a decent car that I can put at least a radio. Car does drive unbelievable but i CAN HEAR THE RATLLE IN THE FRONT STRUTS when goin over bumps.

are 98 99 struts compatible with mine? Anything I should be on the look out for? Thanks

If struts have over 40K, then I would say no deal on labor alone.

Total front suspension rehabilitation for parts only would be about $1200, depending.

No reason to put in used struts, they are already used up too. Get new strut inserts and rear shocks and call it a day.

If you want to risk your labor then dont worry abt used struts and any strut from 97-01 will fit, some 99+ have electric adjustable suspension but I can't tell the difference between sport and off so I'm sure they work fine without the electronics hooked up.

Thanks sooooo much. It would be great if you can get me the wires. for the a/c radio etc. Driving a car without a radio its driving me crazy!!!! Plus the winter is coming so I neednthe heat, Please e-mail me for price and shipping. Paypal?
