I'm really considering getting a 240sx. I was wondering what year and engine everyone would recommend buying?

Please be more specific. What are you looking for? Daily driver, project car, a turbo'd car, motor swap, driftcar (please dont say this), something that looks good?? Give us a price range and experience with cars if you could please.

project car im going to be having a lot of help on the build. i dont really have a price range just going to work on it as i get the money. its not going to be a daily driver its going to be like a friday night race car.

I dont know how many more of these threads i can take... but.
To make the best 'friday night race car' you want a 89-93 240sx (s13) with a toyota 1GZ swap. You will want to install a rocket bunny or Uras Type GT body kit, paint the car midnight purple II, and install a set of Enkei rpf1 wheels, 17x9 +0 all the way around with Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 tires.
There, that is your build. Save up the money and make it.
