Ok so I recently bought a 90 Z32TT that has the following done to it:JWT ECUAPEXi SAFC2APEXi AVCRGREDDY turbo timerGREDDY SP2 Exhaust3" test pipesDual turbo xs RFL BOV's vented to atmosphereRPS clutch and flywheelTEIN S type srpingsKYB AGX strut/shocksStillen HICAS eliminatorJWT Single POP chargerGREDDY Boost gaugeStillen short throw shifter Unorthodox Racing pulley'sJDM engine w/ camsalloy sub frame bushings Nissmo rear diff bushingsBrembo crossdrilled rotors all the way around

I have down pipes but they aren't installed, and i am putting magnaflow high flow cat's on the car soon. Also a GREDDY front bumper. I am going to do a FMIC soon but when the $$$$ gets better.

Ok so the JDM engine lopes like it has a cam and the timing adjuster on the cam looks to be a little bit retarded. also i havent opened up the ecu to check if it is really a JWT but the car pulls hard to 7400 rpm so i would think the stock one would hit the rev limiter. I had the car on a chasis dyno the other day and it made 311 HP and like 340 tq, i was a little bit disapointed, but not too much. What should i expect for a car I paid 5000.00 for just like it sits.

Here are my questions:

1. With the TEIN springs and the brembo larger sized rotors what wheels and tire sizes should i go with? I was thinking 17s or 18s, and would love to get a deep lip look I really just need to know what offsets you guys recomend and rim sizes, etc.

2. When the car was on the dyno it made a detonation type noise, only under full boost and usually only in 2nd and up gears, dosnt seem to do it in 1st. I already have NGK 7 series plugs in there which seem to be a couple of heat ranges cooler than stock, so what do you guys think is causing the detonation? It has stock injectors and fuel system. Also both the boost and the fuel controlers are in monitor mode so they are esentially doing nothing.

3. On start up and sometimes at idle it wants to die, it gets to like 500 rpm and then starts to die if i dont give it a blip on the throttle, this is not all the time, so i dont know.

anyway any advice would help and thanks in advance

First off....I apologize for not spotting this thread sooner.

-You HP and TQ numbers are very good considering you didn't mention injectors or intercoolers as upgraded.

-I'd recommend 17" wheels unless you wanted to do a staggered 17/18 setup. Unless you're building an all show car, then go 18's all the way around. Get something forged and multipiece if your budget allows.

-Upgrade your injectors and intercoolers and check your timing. Those will solve your detonation problems.

-You idle problem is most likely a vacuum leak. Like a 99% chance. Finding it is the fun part, fixing it is easy.

Feel free to post up any questions that you have and I'll help you out.
