i have plenty of car fanatic friends, so i'll make sure to bring them with

and i definitely don't think i'll ever buy a honda, the prelude is too pricy:eek: and the civic, even though it's body style is pretty sweet:ylsuper , has front wheel drive:mad:

'93 240SX SE black hatchback for $6,000, has 73,312 miles on it, it looks great and well maintained by the pic

it's ~1500 more than blue book though, so could you direct me to some good used dealers, preferably located near Phoenix

that is a good price for a nice looking car, but take in what you are getting, and that 6 grand will look a lot nicer, and remeber you might not find another 240 that looks that good for that price

thats to much, i'm almost ready to say "way" to much. even tho the car looks like its in GREAT shape, and with low mileage, i can see why they are askin so much. but don't pay more than like 5 or 5500 for it. i paid 5500 for my '95 SE. granted, had 113k miles when i got it, but still, that car is a '93. don't pay out the wahzoo for it

That car is sweet..and exactly what I'm wanting. :\

Yeah, 6,000 seems a lil high. Wasn't one of you talking abouta guy selling his 240sx for 4,000 and it only had 40,000 on it..It was a S13 too..I think it was a '92 or '93. In any case. Check http://www.autotrader.com too..That car looks nice but 6,000 does seems high.. :\

For $6000 you can get an s14, or an s13 and a turbo. I am not willing to pay over $3000 for an S13, I dont care how good it looks. I am a cheap SOB. Or better yet, a poor SOB.

Anyway, welcome to the board.

well, if i don't get the car, i'll look forward to meeting you, AZhitman, and going out to look for a nice 240, like Former_240_s14 suggested, even if i do get this car, i'd like to get to meet you anyway, you could help me with some techniques like drifting and i can get into stuf..... kinda blank now, been awake since 6am, my mother was having a huge garage sale, well, at least i made over $100

also, make sure you keep a little extra money on the side in case something with the car goes wrong... things wear out on these 240s...especially when they're driven properly ;)

just to give some perspective, i bought my 91 for 1800

Welcome to NICO!

I don't think you would find a better first car than an S13, cheap, fun, reliable, that car only gets better with time. But get one in that's in good condition, take it from me, pay a little more for something solid and save yourself the headache later. You shouldn't have to pay more than 2.5k-3k. Good luck!
