Hi all,

I went into the dealership and looked at the 2010 G37 today. It seems that the base model does not have any options on it so I will have to go with the Journey. I have to have Premium to get Nav and also add wood accents. According to the infiniti build on their website MSRP comes to $39k approx. Does anyone know what a "good price" would be or what the discount should be off of the MSRP for a good deal? (especially since 2011 is coming)

Thanks in advance!!! I look forward to hearing from you all.

I don't know how much dealer cash there is right now, but I'm going to say $35K would be a fair deal for what you listed. That's before any doc fee, tag, and tax.
Good Luck!

Ok not to sound like stupid but what is dealer cash? How does that work? Example 1k dealer cash equals 1k off price?

Yes, Infiniti doesn't normally do rebates. They have dealer cash.
It works better than rebates cause it comes off the negotiated price before taxes are applied where as rebate is applied after taxes.

Thanks. How would I be able to find out if Infiniti is offering dealer cash for 2010 G37 in Southern Cali?

Go to Edmunds.com. Click on "New Cars". Click on "Incentives and rebates". They list all incentives for all brands of cars. Correct that the dealer cash comes off the top before taxes. I found that out when I paid the sales tax on the 2010 FX35(thank you tax code) last friday that I bought 3 weeks ago. On the sedan they would probably use all 1K to make your deal. The dealer cash is at their discretion. There was 4K cash on the FX35 but they wouldn't give me more than 3K on my deal. The dealership pocketed the other 1K. Thankfully I could happily live with the deal I got. :yesnod

Try this: truecar.com.

I tried it, got low quotes from several dealers, and it gives you a good idea what you can buy it for in your area.

The current truecar lowest certified price for the car with your options is $35,023 in SoCal. You should aim to get at least $400-$500 below this price by negotiating directly with the fleet/internet sales manager through email.
