Need advice on tire size

I'm looking at getting a new set of tires for my 2002 Q45. I currently have 255/40 19s and found someone selling a staggered set of 255/40 19s for the front and 285/40 19s for the back. Does anyone know if that kind of set up would work for my car ? I'm particularly concerned about clearances.
