as i said im going offroad wheels/tires, but looking at my options here it wouldnt be as practical as i had imagined, aside from winter i wouldnt need off road wheels, but how about a set of 20's with medium profile..like these? how much would it cost me to get the 2 other tires since he said 2/4 are new

good deal? i need a new set of tires and i want to upgrade wheels anyways. 20 is a little more than I wanted but hey, at this price its not bad.

Im curious...what if i got a flat! wtf do u do! and also, do u think i could get curb rash on the wheels with that profile. oh and are my brakes ok with that size? i used to know this site that calculated corrected speed with upgraded wheels, gunna check that out once i do my upgrade. if not these then ill continue to hunt for the SE wheels from the pathys that ive always wanted (like jcpathys)

I think those wheels look good. Make sure to tell them to balance the wheels on the backside, or the weights will ruin the chrome. Also. Wax them real good before you put them on the car.

As for the brakes, it shouldn't make a difference, the brake is stopping the wheel hub, not the wheel itself. If anything, these are more open, allowing more air into the brake area to cool it.

I had a set of Eagle GT's on an old Corvette that I used to race, they were good tires, traction wise, on pavement. I wouldn't uset them off road at all though.

800 seems pretty good of a deal but 20's are gonna look small on the PF

and 16's DONT? LOL

NO THANKS. i hate 22-24's on q's it looks stupid in my opinion. I want a wheel upgrade thats it. if i could id go with 18's or 19's with higher profile tire. More practical. these will do me just fine, i wish they were aluminum to be honest.

anyways im stilll waiting to hear from the seller.

Not a fan of the style, but I guess for the price you cant go wrong. You technically could get a nice set for around 1200 bux though new. I just think for that money your spending, new would be a better choice.

man, not my speed for a Q, but I respect everyone has their own style.

Always game for a good deal though - if you like them, go for it!

As for Goodyear Eagles, I have them on the other ride and can't complain for road use. Don't expect any performance on anything other than pavement though.

im not the biggest fan of the design but i think itll spruce up the overall look of the q. I hear you guys saying you can get good size 20's here for 1200....ive never really seen that, everywhere i look 20" and up dont sell cheaper than $1200 USED and new usually start at 1400 here. Canadas a whole different ball game for stuff. Even with 1200....i still have to pay taxes and some places will still charge extra for balancing and mounting. Plus its very hard to find the exact bolt pattern i need, these are right off a qx4 so theres no machining required.

The guy emailed me back and said their in good condition and the two not-new tires are fine and definately driveable. I think i might go take a look at them, id rather spend 800 now and get the two new tires next summer than my entire 1800 tax return on new rims/tires cuz i KNOW itll cost that much. I got alot of preventative maintenance I want to do so the cheaper the better on rims.

I agree with Fueler. They look played out. Stock wheels look better than those.

actually that not true. Im picking up Brand new 22" boss 330 series(brand new for 09) for 899+ 1 tax and getting tires for 300-400 used but 80% tread. so im roughly looking under 1400 .
