I think those wheels look good. Make sure to tell them to balance the wheels on the backside, or the weights will ruin the chrome. Also. Wax them real good before you put them on the car.
As for the brakes, it shouldn't make a difference, the brake is stopping the wheel hub, not the wheel itself. If anything, these are more open, allowing more air into the brake area to cool it.
I had a set of Eagle GT's on an old Corvette that I used to race, they were good tires, traction wise, on pavement. I wouldn't uset them off road at all though.
