Need advice on suspensions for my G35 sedan

Hey everyone! I have a 2004 G35 sedan and i have 20in chrome axis rims on it. When i have someone in my car or when i make a hard turn or pass bumps and uneven roads my back tires hit the car and its taking strips of the rubber off. Its getting to the point where im scared of popping my back tires. My question is if i can get a larger better suspentions and put it in the car. Some mechanic told me it wasnt possible with sedans only with coupes. If anyone can help me and recommend suspentions that be great! Thanks! Ill input a pic of my g35 if i can figure out how to work this website!
