need advice on replacing a 6 speed auto. transmission with a 6 speed man. transmission

I own a 1990 maxima se with a 6 speed automatic. i would like to change it over to a 5 or 6 speed man. transmission.

Do you think i should do this and if so where should i go to look for trannys?

The 90's actually came with a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual. Swapping is a relatively easy process, the big thing is just finding all of the parts needed for a swap. What would be best would be to find a complete manual Maxima that's been scrapped to get all of the parts from.
