Well i saw this add on craigslist saying 2 bride racing seats (seats only) for 550 bucks. and one of them for 450. I was wondering if these seats would be authentic. I don't want fake BS in my interior. But its really clean like all black with bride in white.

Those are fake for sure, considering I'm selling my authentic Bride for $500.

Let me know if you want to buy it.

Make sure you aren't buying bucket seats if it's your daily and you don't regularly track the car.

Get recliner.

well biggest issue with cheapo racing seats , espically reclining is that with a rear impact you have no clue how strong they are, a bucket dosent really matter, just cheaper ones jave crappier fabric, but reclining u want something thats crash tested, the megan racing seat is 250 dollers and its crash tested, if u want, i had a set of these btw, they were nice, now if i wanted a good set (2) under 1k i would look at the JIC seats they are real alacantra, and crash tested, and super nice !

i say no, there is only one driver, if u wanna spend 500 than get the two megan racing for 500, they recline and are crash tested, or buy the fake bride, get rear ended and get a wheel chair like prof x

To the original poster, let me help you out with "racing seats"

The MOST important thing you should be doing is sitting in a bunch of seats to figure out which one fits you best.

Different seats feel bigger, smaller, wider, etc.

It's a stupid idea to just buy one based on the limited info that people have contributed in this thread.

What is the purpose of these "racing seats"?

Do you want bucket seats or reclinable seats?

HUGE difference.

I have a pair of Corbeau Targa RS seats and they're comfortable. They aren't fancy Bride seats but they recline, you can get them in black, grey, or 2 tone and in cloth, leather, or microsuede. They also come in regular size and a wider size if you're a bigger guy. They're like $700 a pair now but i paid $600 for mine shipped like 6 years ago. I'm not saying don't get Bride seats...I would if i could afford them. Here's a couple of pictures of mine...they're faded because i've had them 6 years or so but they're still in good shape otherwise.

you can see the fading in this picture

i daily drive in this and s***s awesome. i also just happen to be the perfect size for my seat. if you're fat or tall you really have to pay attention to your seat and bracket

Those look really nice. I think im gonna have to decide between cobeuro (however you spell it lol) bride, or megan racing. These look really nice and have a clean style.

I'm 6'2'' @ 220lbs. I love Bride and Recaro but they are made for 5'4'' Asian men who weigh 120lbs.

I think I will be gettin me some Buddy Club Seats (Wide Version)
