need advice on oil around fuel injector

I'm not sure if the image is showing what I saw on my injectors. I took this earlier while inspecting my SOHC. there seems to be oil around the injector (injector that is closest to front of car)

leaking valve cover, just get a new gasket and you should be fine. that is the only place that oil would come out of that high in the engine

is it oil or is the injector leaking?the oil would be black , if its a fuel leak it is almost clear.

With grime fuel could look kinda like oil. Give it a sniff.

I've given it a whiff and I don't really smell any fuel, I guess its my gasket. thanks for the advice - appreciate it.
