Seems a little big for the KA, unless you're going to be pushing a lot of HP.

My guess is around 3300 - 3700 for full boost.

hahaha.....3300 to 3700 rpms is not lag....like florida said...lag is 4800...as long as boost comes on by 4000rpms then im fine...i just wanted to know.....thanks for the advice.......BTW...if you wanna talk about lag....you should have seen my last car....89 honda hatchback with a semi turbo....i didnt get boost til 5400 rpms...but i revved to 8500 rpms....now that was lag but it kicked in hard all at once....hehehe.

that setup on a 1.? type r integra motor wont spool till close to 5 thousand. his motor revs to 9k though. the strait t4 on a 2.4l should spool or at least start to spool by 4k no doubt.

well the a/r isnt too large....its a .60....so i think ill be fine at the late 3k rpms....early 4k....and my old setup was a 2.0L b20/vtec with 20psi....i built the entire engine and i revved that snatch to 8500 when i romped on it. it had mad lag but i killed everything i raced. but with 2.4L now in the 240 i can only rev to 7k max due to the lack of oil pressure needed. See with our strokes and the stock oiling system lets us go to 7k rpms...a 96mm stroke with proper oiling can do 8k rpms with forged rods and pistons. stock rods wouldnt like that high of revving. ive done the math...its a proven deal....but i guess i can be happy with 7k rpms....now i just need some cams that can go that high...the power gives out at 6k rpms with my stage 1 cams.....oh well....better than stock i guess at 5500

For the record, I think the turbo is .60AR cold side and 0.69 hot side. Do you know the trims of the comp and turbine wheels??

I believe the NSport kit came with a similar turbo...

I used two different specs of T04B's. They will work fine. Not the most flexible or ideal turbo, but it gets the job done well. While it won't have the responsiveness of a T3 turbine, lag/boost threshold will probably not be that big an issue. It's doubtful the turbine that you would find typically mated to a T04B will be on the larger side of the t4 Turbine family. But the compressor and turbine trim is important to know in order to get a better picture of how this turbo will perform.

well...ok...heres what info i do have..its a straight T4....on the exhaust side the housing has these numbers in this exact order

AR.69M-1g 2

in cold side has these number

A/R .60M-24GarrettB.O.4

on the center section it hasY4

its basically brand new...no shaft play what so ever...clean as ****...i think its a rebuild though...no real serial numbers that i can tell anywhere....i dont have a trim number or what...i got the box it came in but there was no papers on it.

the guy who had it for sale was local and this is all the info he gave me

" Garrett T04B, T4 it has a .60 ar compressor housing and a .69 Turbine housing. zero shaft play, still have the garett box even. make an offer if interested. "

the exhaust hole is 2.75 in's side to side...BUT the actual size of the turbine fan (blades) is 2 1/4 side to side...

the cold side inlet hole is 3in....but the blade is about 2in round...

None of the numbers you posted are the trim. If you do not know them, you can simply measure the minor and major diameters of each wheel and post those. We can then match it up to a Garrett or turbonetics catalog and find the corresponding compressor map.
