I got some weird symptoms with my sr such as smells to be running rich with popping in exhaust. The engine when it is cold doesn't respond to throttle input, it just falls on it's face. The engine will not hold idle for more then 30 seconds, at first start up it is very low 500rpm and it shakes, then I can feather the gas and it will idle at about 1000 rpm for a few seconds then it will just stumble and shut down. My IACV appears to be clean, when I unplug my TPS it speeds up idle but then it will fail too (sometimes no change is noted).. I have cleaned my MAF.

My setup is rebuilt bottomend, GT2871r, N62 maf, Deatswerks 740cc injectors and a e-mance tune my static fuel pressure is set to 43.5, these symptoms were present before the tune, except for the richness and poppingI have recently changed coilpack #3 (new) ignitor chip all new intercooler pipes and couplers (no leaks) the engine appears to run fine under load, I really need some input as to where my engine is failing is it a sensor, timing issue, I really am trying to avoid throwing parts at it. Your help is appreciated

MY E5 ecu is also the one with out the diagnostic light so I won't be jumping wires to check codes

how did your sr run before the tuned ecu with the stock setup? sometimes these off the shelf tunes are not perfect and will run rich or lean.

The engine ran great then it needed a rebuild after the rebuild the weird idle started. I decided I would upgrade for more power (new maf, injectors etc)The idle stayed the same except the tune is a little rich which is probabbly causing the popping in the exhaust. My afr gauge needs a new sensor, so I can't register any readings right now..I might have a shop fine tune with a safc to get it 100% dialed in as far as rich/lean goes after I get my AFR gauge fixed....I just can't figure out why it dies out so much and will not respond to throttle when it is first started up, but runs great when it is being driven
