Hey, I'm new to 240's but I really want one. I found one for sale here in jersey, its a '89 maroon automatic notch. I don't know the miles but there asking $1,900. Its been there for awhile. I don't really want a notch, or an auto on top of that..
I basically am looking for a fixer-upper hatch thats 5spd.

friend has one for 400 bucks in MD butneeds to be towed he started to work on it but stopped half way......half the engine is apart(blown gasket) 89 fb 5spd

pretty much depending what you wanna do. if you dont care about the motor condition and wanna swap to a newer motor or ahem sr or whatever thatll be a thing to consider. 240s go cheap when the motor is either blow or bad. give it a visual check look at the body, interior, and see if theres any bent stuff like axles, drive shaft, yeah i know thats getting a little crazy, hump the springs. if youre gonna swap nothing really matters besides major stuff. haha imagine both axles busted and frame got owned...
