Well, Finally thanks to bullittandy I know have a complete looking ride.

He provided me with harnesses and a full stock bose system not to mention a molding for my drivers front door (thanks again bullitandy)So again Thanks.

Now the issues, Power driver seat and steering wheel only work when the car is off (passenger works fine). So I f I need to adjust the seats or steering I have to turn off the car for me to do it. Anyone else had this same issue? Please help

Second issue. Previous owner removed the catalytic cnoverter and put in a dual exhast (front front to back) with one o2 sensor "welded in to each of the pipes). Car sounds cool but I need to pass inspection in march. I know getting an entire ehaust system with the cat is a forune if new. Is there a way to trick the system so that engine lights go off. Is the exhaust system the same for 97-2001 q45's so that I may get a used stock exhaust from a donor car? Are there any aftermarket exhaust systems that are street legal that the q can accept as original?

Thanks

The OEM exhaust is a true dial one.

Used exhaust shouldn't be too expensive, but OEM catalytic converters use a lot of precious metals so won't be cheap.

No CEL?

pull the cluster and remove the CEL light...sneaky... 96 or older do not get smog tested out here. Try and get it tested in a more rural area. Niqole passed in stage III.....

Funny but when I got it scaned it did not mention any code about the cat, just about the o2 sensors. Are ther some of you that have opted to eliminate the cat?

I'm not sure how to bypass the O2 on a 97. Email Wes...

If you have a emission test that requires a "sniffer" test then you'll have to add cats and I would rec Magnaflow, they sell universal cats that are about $100 a piece and any muffler shop can weld them in.

If you simply have to have "no codes" then add the second two O2 sensor ports and O2 sensors -hopefully previous owner didn't muck up the harness. They likely deleted the second set of O2 sensors which are in the area of the transmission so look for the wiring there.

Worst case is a used set up-keep a look out in the local pull a parts for any 97-01 car. The midpipe comes off pretty easy in my opinion.

Nealy all states require you have catalytic converter(s) to my knowledge and check for them (Please correct if wrong).
