Need Advice on Caliper Color

Im a newbie so forgive me! I have a 3.5 SE that I am building slowly. My brakes needed replacing so I upgraded and Im having my calipers painted. I cant decided to go black or red. My car has stock rims and its the charcoal grey. Thanks!


Side Note: I do plan on getting black 18" Enkei LS-5 by the end of the summer.

Paint them red. I'm painting mine red soon.

I always use VHT Caliper Paint (Spray) but I wanted to try the Brush method and bought the Dupli Color Caliper Kit. The results wasn't good, it could just be me because I didn't have the patience, I don't know.

I stripped it after a year and repainted it with VHT Red, I looks great for a few months but it's a PITA keeping them clean.

In a few days, on my vacation if the weather holds I will strip them again and go with VHT Black.

i went gold with my black rims, love the look. i used the G2 kit, works great.
