I was wondering if anyone here is from Kansas or if anyone knows where to go in Kansas for some good quality work on my Q. Major Infiniti in KC and Steven Infiniti in Wichita are too darn expensive and sad to say, not very cordial to someone trying to preserve his baby. If anyone has any insight/advice, let me know.Thanks.

Although Kansas is my old stopping grounds, I can't really help you. After some extended problems on a Toyota years ago, I became convinced dealers could solve problems even good mechanics couldn't. Sounds like you're somewhere in between KC and Wichita....

However, I face the same question. My dealer does all of the work I can't/won't handle and I'd like an alternative. Anyone know a good Infiniti mechanic in Austin/central Texas?

Aus94q45 has some work done up north. Look for him to post or email him. I need to find someone too to do my flushes and suspension maintenance this Spring or Fall.

The dealer is nice, but totally unhip to preventative maintenance. Not sure if there are any original senior techs there.

Steve,

Actually I'm in Lawrence at KU. Major Infiniti really doesn't treat me well and my dad who owns a 94 Q has had a heck of a time with Steven Infiniti. I would be willing to go to T3 for things like guides, etc. but when I just need them to replace a P/S pump or do the shocks, etc etc. it's just not worth it. If anyone knows of any Kansas techs or Inifiniti-saavy mechanics let me know.

Nick
