Hi there, i recently took my car in to get the throttle body cleaned because my accelerator was sticking, then i noticed when i took it home my idle was higher than normal, so i called back and they said its normal after a cleaning. They said to drive 100 miles and the ICV should readjust itself.
200 miles later still high idles, and when i start the car the RPM drops and increases about 4x like it's revving itself.
They said the ICV needs to be replaced and it would cost me $330
I pointed out that i had NO issues with idle RPM before i took my car in for throttle cleaning and the head mechanic there said he was'nt aware, so he'll check out if it was their fault on friday.
My question is what should i expect him to look for, so i can defend myself? what questions should i ask
