recently, well not really last year when i had the car on the road during the winter. the climate control went on the fritz. it just did not want to turn off. so i tried pulling the fuse.little do i know that there are 2 fuses. after pulling one and it not wanting to turn off i obviously pulled the second. after dooing so it automatically turned off. but the big problem was that during the winter i would put the fuse back in for heat ofcourse and after about 20 minutes of driving and having the heat on at the same time the fuse would get so hot it would actually melt........i was thinking that it might be a rellay or blower motor or somethin like that...dont know not really sure but a thought, idea, brain fart would help......as you all can obviously tell that the winter is comming soon and im gettin ready to put the car back on the road and since the car is a luxury vehicle, i figure hey whats a luxary car w/out heat.....someone get back to me with a thought or somethin pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

THE CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT WILL NOT TURN OFF UNLESS I PULL OUT THE 2 FUSES......WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE???????

Sounds like the Fan Control Amplifier located on the airbox behind the glovebox. Just did mine last week. Cost $57 plus shipping from Joe and took 30 minutes to install. The thread tells all including P/N.
