This is my first time using this forum, I'll apologize if I didn't follow the forum rules.I have 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE auto, I want to upgrade it, and make it better and faster. But I'm like a beginner for cars. Most of people said that it's not really worth it to upgrade my car. But this is my first and only car, I want to make it good. I was just wondering what can I do to improve my car better.

Thanks, Justin

your car is auto, probably why peaple say its not worth it. personally, i wouldnt mod it out if i owned it, BUT thats just what this is about, modding YOUR car to YOUR liking. if you think it looks good lowered, do it. if you like to mod it , go for it!as for where to get started, read read read. research here and other sites. see what others are doin and see what you might like 'till you get a feel for it. engine wise, an intake and catback is a good start. wheels and tires will give you the most noticable change in your suspension setup. and maintanencegood luck

Honestly it depends on what you want to do. What do you want to improve upon - handling, power, etc? Also what is your "goal" for the car - autox, a more fun daily driver, etc?

IMO, the auto box takes a lot of the fun out of it, but that doesn't have to stop you for sure.

Haha, that's kinda vague, but I'll run with it anyway.

Start small, something like an intake or catback, then see if the mod bug takes you further from there.

Try your local import tuner shop or check out some of the site sponsors. Intake header and Exhaust is a good start also a good set of springs with a slightly lower height setting than stock can do wonders.

also check out West Covina Nissans site as well for parts.
