sO HERE is my setup : 89 ka24e 200k kms on it. steady comp 160150150165 putting in new gasket set timing kit head studs.now i have fmic with 2.5 inch piping i got a rebuild turbo tdo4 thats mitsu t25 used on every talon, etc i figue if mitsu 2.0dohc can do well over 250hp with some fine tunning and sr20 do well over 250hp with t25 thats also 2.0 dohc . So i 2.4l sohc should have nice long turbo curve doing over 200hp with no lag but rather some lack of power towards the red line.now people on ka-t are telling me that i will fry tubo to shiets before i hit over 200hp , now it doesn't make sense to me ...why would i not be able to do what sr20 and dsm do with the same turbo but .4 bigger engine.?? also stock wastegate is set at 10psi, now how high can i boost this thinggyconsidering its t25 ??? 20psi hehe i am hunting for e-manage and rx7 inj right now. i have aslo hacked up my factory mani and weldded it up with stock bottom mount dsm mani.

im a former dsm'er, the T25 is a big piece of crap. its nearly maxed out at 200 hp on a stock 2nd gen eclipse. at 250, its pumping nothing but hot air. its set at ten psi, but pushing it much higher isnt a really good idea. Those turbos are ment to stay in the 150-250 range, period. It doesnt matter that the KA is .4 liters bigger, the T25 will still suck.....

I'm pushing 7psi on my T25 and have hit 200rwhp 205rwtq. the engine comp is a bit low, so i'm sure if it was more healthier and running cooler (it got a bit hot on the dyno run) it'd be even more powerful.

I don't know what it's limits are, but I do know they aren't anything too special...they are good for a starter/budget set-up, while my car isn't **** your pants fast, it is very fun to drive.

The largest T3 maxes out around 5000RPM on a KA, so imagine a T25.

you said "no lag" yah no kidding, you will be burning rubber trying to get out of a parking stall...

and those compression numbers don't look too hot, you have a 15psi difference between cylinders, my advice, swap a DE in there
