For my wife's Ford Edge the finance guy threw in a warranty for repair of wheel damage. He said it costs $60. I called my Infiniti guy and he said the wheel warranty for the G37 is $599

That seems a bit high. Does anyone know where we can get something reasonable to fix the wheels if/when we hit a curb?

Are you sure curb rash is covered to the level you would assume it is, as so common with specialty wheels that I'm not sure $600 would cover even 1 wheel replacement [at retail] ..................maybe just some repainting.

Ebay a few takeoff wheels.............dealers sometimes have cheap used forsale BEFORE you need one not after the damge is done.

Speaking of curb rash, someone kissed a curb on a test drive prior to me test driving. I noticed it halfway through a test drive when we got out of the car to give it a walk around in an open area.

These wheels stick out quite a bit but are a pain if you have a lot of tight turns and parallel park often. Be careful!

I also got quotes in the $400 to $500 range depending on the mileage. I called to see what was covered. Scratches or any cosmetic damage are NOT covered. What is covered is tire damage, bent wheels (from potholes) or bent rim lips.

Unfortunately I got a little curb rash from parking in a parking elevator. The weird thing is it looks like the wheels are painted. The silver color is flaking off revealing a white rim underneath. It's a small scratch so I can't really tell for sure, but it seemed kind of odd.
