Need a VIN, or just part # help?

I am trying to order new caps for the grip assists on the ceiling. from a 90-93 Q45

I know the part # is (73943-71U60) but that isnt for sure the right color. I need them in black.

I inquired with parts places online and they all just ask for the VIN but I dont own a Q45 so I dont have the VIN from one. Using these grip assists in a different car.

Can anyone supply me with a VIN from this year Q45 that would've had a black interior (or at least black grip assists)? or just help me figure out the part number?

All of the dashboards and steering wheels were black for those years. Perhaps the grab handles were also? I don't really know but owners of those model years could tell you.

I had a 92 that had tan interior, with a tan wheel and tan dash...

I would check about other nissan cars. I'm sure they didn't just R&D a new set of handles for the Q. Check the maximas and altimas of that era in your junkyard or eBay.

Thanks for the replies...HOWEVER

the Q45 grip assist/oh s*** handles are leather covered. and they also come in different colors

I am going to be using these in a Maxima, only Infinitis have these in leather...the ones Im replacing in the Maxima are cheap plastic..

That's for a black 1990 with grey interior (not mine anymore), but am 100% sure it has the black handles.

Part number: 73943-71U60 is for a grey grip handle assist cap. Basically that cap that goes over the mount screw.

The part numbers (for the black grip handles and caps) you want are: 73940-60U13- (long front) 73940-60U13- (short rear) Left or right makes no difference here. The cap that covers the mounting screw is: 73943-60U03-.

By the way any 1990-1996 black or a 1990-1992 white or grey interior will have the same black grip handles and caps.

so...73943-60U03 is the part number for the black colored caps? looking to buy new caps because they're hard to find without scuffs

also, I was under the impression the Q45 had 1 short and 2 long handles, but your post suggests the opposite...?
Only the short (around 8") handle fits in my car, so im forced to find 3 seperate Q45s in order to make a set of 3 that work in my car..or at least I thought?
