need a transmission

so the other day i'm going home and my transmission broke it's syncros. so i was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to buy a reman'd or used transmission other then the junk yards. thanks.

so what models had my transmission, would a base model with a 5 speed be the same or are the trannys different? thanks for the help.

You need a transmission from 91-94 sentra se-r but they are prone to 5th gear pop out. 95-98 200sx se-r will be your best choice. 91-96 G20t will have taller gearing, good for turbo applications. 99-02 g20t strongest along with the b15 se p/p transmission. The last two will have to be converted to cable as they are hydraulic. Just remember if you get a g20 of any year, make sure it is the touring model as they come with LSD. The b15 has to be the performance/package to get the LSD.
