need a timing manual for a 1996 240sx... PLEASE

can anyone point me in the direction of a website that could tell me the steps to the correct timing?

i cant find ANYTHING

Or you could look for "fsm" and pull it up that way too, although it'd include quite a bit of other details not really pertaining to timing.

There is a Factory service manual (FSM) at 240edge.com just click on manual section and select 1996 240sx (ka24de). I think what your looking for is in the (EC) section of the manual (EC 61 that's where it starts) EC=Engine control system. Just read on think that's what you asked for.

Don't know about OBD2 that's what you got because it's 96. But on older ka24e/de's you only need a timing light and the wrench for the dist' bolts. Don't know and dont think that you need "Consult" nissan scan tool/code reader.
