As the title claims. My tire went Bye-Bye. I need a new one.

I May be looking for 2. Just to put them on my back. My traction is starting to suck in the back and it slides too easily.

Not sure yet.

Either way I need advice on a decent tire. Must be All Season because it snows here. Price is big a factor. Also time, I am riding on a doughnut right now.(Thats why I posted here instead of the tire, suspension and brakes section) I Don't care about road noise.

I ran across Falken Ziex ZE-912.$89.00http://www.discounttiredirect....ar=55

Is that a Good choice? Should I look elsewhere? Thank you in advance.

I went with Yoko Avids on my wife's G sedan and daughter's Max.

Have heard good things about the Falkens, but 1 set I had was noisy 512's on daughter's max. I might look to a Kumho instead.Stay away from Goodyear RS-A's!!! They wear out TOO fast!!

I used to buy from Discount Tire until my local Nissan dealer started matching/beating their prices.

As always, check tirerack for feedback & ratings

That's what I have on my g right now. I had to replace the originals at 10k. I ma almost at 30k and they still in good shape. Really good on dry road and not bad on wet. Snow traction is not as good as the original but no problem here.

Road noise is improved from the 512 so that is better.

I think you would like it. I know I do like it.

You're being a pain

I personally wouldn't want to put chains on my G. And after seeing some of those videos, I totally understand why he wants all season tires.

i know but i only have two words, move NOW! why live in snow, why why why do that to your g. all gs should be adopted by people in non snowy climates. gs really love the sun and plus they attract girls in scantily clad clothing more often when it isnt 50 below.

If you are going to stay in the Grand Touring group of tires, I would go with something else. On TIRERACK, the ones you have are rated number 10....not too good for the group.Have a friend that put the Goodyear Response Edge on his Max and he likes them.

Again, it depends on whether you want to stay in the GT group or bump up to a more performance group of tires. If you have a lot of snow, you might want to stay in the GT group.

I want something that grips on pavement but isen't going to kill me in the snow.

I don't care about luxary. I don't care about road noise.

Also I've went through several different kinds of goodyears. They never last very long. Barely a Year out of them....If that. Ive even had a blow out on one.

I'm getting ready to order a set of Kumho ASX's soon. $86 each at tire rack. The only rank 10th in the survey, but after I consider price into the mix, the survey doesn't come into play as much.
