So here's the deal... I have a 93(?) sr20det redtop, and a 91 240sx that runs well. Problem is, the sr has been sitting for oh well call it about 5 years. I ran out of money and time, had a kid and drug problem, still got the kid, got rid of the drug problem. Is this even worth putting in my car? How much in labor to get this installed? I might be missing a few hoses and stuff but nothing major. I have the ecu, transmission and motor just sitting still in the clip. I need some advice on what I should do, what kind of money I'm looking at spending. Thanks in advance...

Not the wrong forum, but not knowing exactly what you have is going to make it hard to give a ball park figure...assuming your front clip is complete (wiring, intercooler, ecu etc..) and providing your engine still spins then you could buy an engine stand and hoist for $240, buy a basic gasket rebulid set for $200,hoses and belts for $100, get a clutch and fly wheel for $400(optional) 4 quarts of mobil1 $20, 4 bottles of royal purple M/t fluid for $50 and a soldering gun and supplies for your harness for about $100....get a 30 pack and some buddies and a s14 fsm and in a weekend you could have this car running decent...maybe requireing some extras...you would be looking at about $1000 to do it your self correctly maybe $2000 for a legit company to do it for you
