Ok my bro left the lights on in his Z, killed the battery. I know there's a somewhat quirky way you sometimes have to jump nissan batteries. With my 97 altima, I had to hook the grounding cable to a bolt on the frame. Does the Z have a similar quirk? If so what is it?

Thanks in advance

it's recomended on all cars to hook the ground cable to a chassis ground, the reason is to prevent a possible spark near a potentially explosive leaking battery, if you can get to the battery posts it should work fine, if not just hook the neg to a good ground location, my chebby truck has those retarded side posts and a remote positive lug for jumps, so long as all you're cable's are in good condition it won't make a difference

I have always just jump-started my Z by just hooking up the cables straight to the battery.
