Need a quick answer.. Please someone???

I am at the autopart store and want to purchase some Mobile 1 ATF and Mobile 1 Diferential fluid for a 94 G50. I have already purchased the Trany filter kit from Scottsdale Infiniti. My question is how much fluid will I need for the transmission and also for the Differential????

PS. My Mech will be dropping the transmission pan.

transmission is 10 3/4 us qts ill look now for diff

The pan hold between 3-3.5 quarts, more might dribble out if you leave pan off 24 hours.

The bulk of the 10+ quarts [ AT system capacity] is in the torque convertor, AT pump, and lines to from rad heat exchanger.

I assumed he was draining both systems so i went with total capacity either way he o the answer hope it was fast enuff Nothing like posting from the store!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS TECHNOLOGY

The 1 time I had pan dropped & screen strainer replaced,it took almost 7 quarts to refill-I think it took soo much because we disconnected the cooler line to get at pan bolts and let it drip for hours..............a simple pan drain performed by removing drain plug only gets out 2.75-3 quarts on my q

Get 14-16 quarts and do a few drain and fills to replace most of the old fluid.6 drain/fills will replace 80-85 % of total fluid

If you are performing a true mechanical exchange of the ATF, don't forget about the PS fluid. 18 qt. of ATF will do both, 14 for the AT only.

6 oz. of Lube Guard Red in the ATF also.

Thanks everyone. I just got back from mech and now ihave 1 quart of eachleft over. he let the transmission drain for about 2 hours. Well back to the autoparts store to return thevleft over.
