EDIT: Would 17x9.5 +17 be any different in fitment than 17x9 +17?I'm looking to get new rims for my car since the stock ones are ugly and very small. I like the Work Emotion XD9's and was wondering if anybody had a picture of them in matt bronze on a black kouki s14. Would the dimensions 17x9.5 with +17 offset all around be a good choice? Thanks , Dire91

that might be a little large in the front. I run 17x9 +25 in the front and I'm definatly going to need to run some negative along with a stretched tire...also a spacer for the coils.

The extra .5 and +17 might be enough to force you to roll the fenders or do some more stretch. You would be about another half inch out then me...

Compared to stock you would be out an extra 55mm-65mm

I'm no wheel expert though, just some advice.

i think for s14's it's a little wider. i have 235/40 on 17x9 +20 and it fits perfect.

i wouldn't be surprised if 17x9.5+17 fit all around...i can't remember his name but a guy here has it on his white zenki. it looks pretty good but i would rather get cr kais.

yes the 9.5 would be 6 mm closer to coilovers or struts and stick out 6mm farther as well

17x9.5 +17 would be fine for you to run. Just a tad of stretch on the tire for front clearance. I know your using an s14, but i had 9.5 +20 on the front my s13 with 1mm clearance from my coils. Although all coils arent the same, if you need any extra room, you should only need 2-3mm spacer max.

___The REAL MATH. You can't compare different widths and explain with offsets.

If starting with a 17x9 +17....

A 17x9.5 +17 would give you 6mm less backspace clearance and 6mm closer to the fender.

i saw the wheels and really liked them so looked them up and on the Work Website there is a list of different wheel offsets and sizes http://workwheelsusa.com/produ...el=79

right under the picture there is a list of different sizes and offsetsyou could run 17x8.5 +25 in the front and then run the 17x9.5 +17 in the rear

i love it when the wheels in the back are wider and have less of an offset, looks more agressive and give the car a better stance IMO

BEST OF ALL, all the sized come in a 4 bolt pattern, for those die hard 4 lug guys

ugh... theres really no reason to go staggar. If you have the choice, just go 17x9.5 all around.

17x9.5 all around

I think the specs were 17x9.5+17 with a 5mm spacer up front to clear suspension... tires I think were 235/40.

Your spacers aren't centered on the hub, then. Take the wheels off and re-center them.

Maybe you just need some ball joints replaced or your wheels need re-balanced. They don't stay balanced forever and wheel weights can fall off making it worse.
