I changed the brake pads on my Versa yesterday (haven't driven it yet). I had never done it before, had a friend help. It was pretty quick and easy.
We did make one mistake though. On the front brakes at the top there is a little metal tab... currently it's sticking out and hitting my rims, which obviously it shouldn't be doing.
So, I'm sure it is supposed to tuck in somewhere, but I'm not sure if it tucks into the loop on the brake pad, or under that somewhere.
If anybody can take a picture of the top half of the caliper where the brake pad loop is that would be great, either through rims or with the wheel off.. it would be hugely appreciated so I can tuck this little tab of metal back where it's supposed to be and drive my car. I have a bad feeling I'm going to have to pull everything apart again, but I want to make sure this little metal tab is going in the right spot.
This is the part I mean... bad picture due to cell phone camera, but hopefully somebody can help.
