I have been looking through the posts trying to find a high quality picture of a White Versa with Charcoal interior. As I won't actually have the car itself to look at for a while, at least I would like a few good quality pics to stare at.
I wonder why we allow Nissan to do this to us. What other manufacturer is doing the same thing by promoting a car without having it readily available. I have never heard of such a thing before.

Try getting a Honda Fit Sport. It is (or was when I was looking) the same story. Honda was quoting December delivery time. So Nissan is not alone.

At this point, I'm starting to think that Nissan just completely failed to anticipate the demand for the Versa. I think they also failed anticipate the demand for options (i.e. SL's with ABS). I don't think the problem is with production amount, but producing enough of what people want. They are just now realizing that and we are seeing more and more of the "Rare V's" (the ones that come fully loaded). They've placed too much focus on the S autos with the power package.

It's occassionally happens. Besides the Honda Fit, I know others that had the same issue with the Chrysler PT Cruiser when it was first released and it has been going on with Toyota and the Prius for about a year.canada_versa wrote:What other manufacturer is doing the same thing by promoting a car without having it readily available.
