need a new transmission, what are my options???

so i need to get a new transmission for my s13 Blacktop, what are my options?is there a better transmission i could get from another nissan or something,any info is aprecaited thanks

Either get a s13 or s14 replacement trans or find a ka24 trans and swap the bell housings. Or....you can spend 5-6000 dollars on a HKS or OS Giken trans.

Search around, Mazworx makes a trans adapter kit to use a Z32 trans, those are proven to withstand tons of horsepower. Before you make any purchases you need to consider what your going to do with the car. Do you really need a stronger trans? How much are you looking to spend? trans kits can be expensive.

S14 is the strongest out of all the Silvia's. A lot of people here in Japan turn to that or they get a VQ transmission but you have to get an adapter for it.

decide what the car is for. Almost anything you are going to do with the car can be done reliably with the factory transmission. If you are wanting to play with gearing a bit then you have the KA/SR/Z32/I think they even have a way to use the Z33 6pd...or you can go baller and go Giken, Dogmission (only for the serious build) or HKS.
