Lastnight we had over 150 cars at the weekly meet on SR50 in O-town. It's starting to get out of hand, I dont' mind the Supra's, RX-7's, WRX's, and the occasional IS300... but the ricers are coming out of the woodwork now to see all the cool cars. So we're starting to consider leaving the spot we've called home for the last 4 years and going for somthing else.

Anybody have any ideas?

let me know

What's wrong with Kissimmee? hehe.

I really do like the Orange and 50 spot, it's nice and we havn't been forced out at all since we started going there. Plus you get all the women on their way downtown passing by (always a plus). Sports Authority and Best Buy are both on the 'black list' of OPD so if we show up there we will more than likely get thrown back out.

Anybody know anything about the parking lot next to the Deli on Orange and 50?

agreed...wasn't out last night, but I heard about the crowd...

Our backup location of orange and 50? It's kinda tight though, not really room for more than 8 cars or so.

Sports Authority? The people who used to hang out there have all left...that location was pretty high profile though, might attract the wrong crowd again.

We should probably try and keep it around downtown orlando, that seems to be the most central for everybody in the area...some peeps up in altamonte, and those poor souls who live in kissimmee :)

Maybe try and share the parking lot with the vw meet?

Wow... you guys meet up weekly?!!! I need to move to Florida... there are about 3 other 240s in town, and NONE of them are aything but bone stock. Hell, even with our extensive ricer population.. the only meets occur at the track on Friday nights.

Hell yeah, its all the ricers from the Sonics on I-Drive. Someone let the word out to them and they come ricing in like they own the place. It was just too crazy on saturday, and if it keeps up, our spot might be "black list" :(

Damn I remember when the Best Buy spot and the Sport Authority spot used to be hot, until the ricers came in. We cant let this happend to our NICO spot.

So who wants to help kick them out? I'm dead serious.... I will walk up to every single one of them and be polite but ask that they either turn down their stereo's and not do stupid stuff I.E. burnouts, needless reving, driving in circles ect. or they can leave.

If about 2 or 3 other people want to do this I'm all for it.....

We should be open to any respectable car owner who wants to hang out and look at cars. Us Nico guys do not have rights to that lot. We have been lucky to meet there for the last four years because we do not cause problems. The problem starts when the losers come in doing burnouts and donuts and racing up and down 50 like they have to prove something and that's how ALLof us will get kicked out. As for now on I think all of us should walk up to any A$$ hole wanting to show off in his FRWD probe doing donuts and tell him to get the Fuc out!

i dont know, man. I doubt the ricers will ever leave, whether we ask them to or not. I can put money on it that the rice kids have found their "new sonic". Sonic used to be jade crew's spot until all those kids started showing up every week. As hard as it will be, i think we should just find a new spot, and maybe a backup spot just in case rice kids finds us again.

Im with Paul, we can keep moving from spot to spot and the damn ricers will follow us just like cops do to them, which in turn will be bad for us, or something like that. That spot was been our spot for past 4 year. Aint no ricers going to take over our spot.

Sounds like a party I'll invite some freinds hehe

well...i'm down for whatever. keeping those kids under control isnt gonna be easy. I have a feeling were gonna spend more time and frustration babysitting a bunch of rice kids, than chillin out and having the usual good time. either way, whatever yall decide, i'm down.

See right now they are all still a bit uncomfortable with us, they are all parking on the far side of the lot in their own little group. If we can kick them out now, maybe they'll stop coming back (since it's all kinda new to them anyhow). Either way I do not want us to loose that parking lot to them.

I'm actually thinking about printing out a set of 'rules' for everybody to follow that I could hand out to the newbie's. I could do it at work tomorrow and not pay a cent for them. At least that way we have somthing to show them when we kick their asses out.

Anyway, are you gonna be there this weekend? I'd like to see your car! I drive the red S13 coupe...

are there any spots perhaps on university? thats a good central rd. and itll only take me 30 min. to get there. or just one night call the cops and say that theres abunch of kids in hondas doing burnouts and careless driving in the parking lot. but then again that could be a bad idea to, sometimes the cops well turn on you. you never know.

Were still working on his swap. Dre did you get the stock mounts off?

Anyway, theres plenty of S13's with SR swaps showing up, ive never seen your red S13 coupe though. I have a black S13 coupe, usually the only one there. It also has NISMO across the top of the windshield.

naw dude, i was hoping to get the mounts loosened tomorrow(thursday). let me know if you, eli, and will can swing by and give me a hand. i bet we could have the motor bolted down in less than 1/2 hour. i'll give you a call when i get off work. i'll also be on the forum while i'm at work, so you can get at me then if you want.

yeah, i'll be at the spot this Saturday- hopefully with my s13 running. its red and completely stock outside. sleeper style for now. :sleep

wow I swear SR swaps are pretty common at the meets. At bound to see at least 1-2 come every weekend. What you don't see are CA swaps. Only one I ever saw was Paul's and Ray's but there no longer existent. No Iron for you Paul? Maybe Pepsi will work for ya heh

Hmm - I'm down the road in Lakeland - might just take a trip up there one evening to see what is going on - assuming you don't mind "bloody foreigners" turning up ;)

I don't have a problem with it, but I'm sure Mike and Mitch are going to be asking you to "say gooday mate" "say bird" "how do you ask a girl out in your country"..... they don't get out much, and I think all they learned about forgien cultures they learned in the movie Snatch.

I'm (or Ah'm) more likely to say "how're ye daen pal?" rather than any of that ****ney bollocks ;) EDIT *c.o.c.k.n.e.y*

They could always watch Trainspotting to learn more about my home country of Scotland though I guess ;)
