i dont know about that. i dont think these are the kinda kids that should be exposed to our type of scene. soon they'll think its alright to show up in their riced out drifterX, gtR, unpainted front bumper falling off, 240's, oh wait its already happening. I dont want to profile or anything, but damn, theyre all the same. burnouts, revving, loud stereo blasting obnoctious(sp?) sh!tty music, and the cars are eyesores. if we dont do anthing about the ricekids, we can kiss our rep and our spot goodbye.
paul, did you ever print out that set of rules for sharing the lot? so far, thats been the best idea. I know for sure, some of the rice kids respect the fact that its someone elses spot. a few weeks ago i got to the spot early, like 10pm or so, and then a group of kids in really ghettofied accords and corrollas showed up. i didnt bother talking to them i just left hoping they would too, seeing that the lot was empty and was gonna be for a while. anyway, before i left some of the kids began throwing trash and flyers all over the ground, and the driver yelled at them and made them pick it all up. he must have seen how me and my friend started getting pissed.
anyway, sorry for the long post. but the main point is: establishing rules might be a good idea. at least then they cant say they werent warned when we end up asking them to leave.
when i started my SR swap project, i was directed to the nico meets, since then, all the people there have been nothing but helpful. On top of that, its one of the most taken-careof spots in town. I'm not about to let a bunch of punk ricers ruin that.
again sorry for the long post.
