Well a clutch will not make your car faster...per say. A lighter flywheel with a grippy clutch will allow the engine to spin up faster. However, if you replace the flywheel, you run the risk of chatter.

Do some research before you decide...

I would inquire why the clutch only lasted 50k miles?
Are you the original owner?
Perhaps the original clutch was defective?
Do you slip or ride the clutch pedal
Properly driven a clutch should be good for 200k miles
You may also need a flywheel

The clutches in the VQ aren't designed to last much past the 60k mark. When my long black was replaced by Infiniti, I had the clutch and flywheel replaced as well and glad I did, because it was quite worn at 52k miles. I would recommend a ACT Streetlite 17.9lb flywheel and exedy OEM style clutch. Minimum chatter will be added with this mix and the lighter flywheel does help the car accelerate much better.
