Need a miracle. No fire to spark plugs.

Alright here is me at my worst. My 240 has been sitting in a yard rotting for two years now... I had the factory motor rebuilt. I know why rebuild factory when you can upgrade? Well I was saving for the upgrade and tired of not having my better half I decided to go back factory until I had enough saved to upgrade. O.k. Motor was rebuilt by machine shop, I take the motor to my buddies garage and proceed to prepare the motor for entry, everything goes fine..... All the wire plugs got marked in the pull so there would be no confusion on the install. After all is installed and I'm about to piss myself from complete excitement I turn the key over and nothing happens..... New plugs, wires, distributor, d-button, d-cap. m PLS HELP

What exactly do you mean by nothing happens?Starter does not engage?Time to re-check all connections and timing marks.
