The best one would be the Z32 with Mazworx adapter kit for the Sr...

z32 is unnecassery if you arent planning on goin over 500 hp.. i noticed he said cheap route. 1200 bucks for just the adapter isnt really cheap route, i guess you should let us know ur power goals and stuff, but for basic setup stock is fine

for the time being im just looking for sumthing in budget. i traded my gti for a S13, its got 61k on it....and the deal was to turbo it. so i just got to worry about the converting part....for right now until maybe a year from now im not gonna do anything engine wise to it....500hp sounds good and all but not right now. not till i get a 6, unless 500 can be made with the sr....bu thats another story. so in the future il worry about that z32 lol but for right now, i wanna keep this conversion under 600..

Buy a stock KA trans for 100 bucks (or less in a junkyard)

BUy a blown SR trans for 100 bucks off a forum

Swap bellhousings, call it a day.
