need a little help.

ok so today i finally get a chance to check my car out and somewhat clean it and find some problems. oil is just plain nasty, there is oil all over the place from previous oil changes, missing drivers side inner fender well thingy and the list just goes on and on. anyway i changed the oil using 10w30 and of course got a new oil filter. so here is my problem now after the oil change the car seemed a little sluggish and what not but then it just got in what i would call decent running condition and now when i went out to go do some stuff it runs like crap! fist thing the car does now when i turn it on rpms go to about 1500 and then is just starts bogging down and then dies. i start the car back up and does decent except is just idles at 1200 rpms. i go drive around a little bit and seems to be running just fine until i push the clutch in. when i push the clutch inthe rpm's jump right upto 2500 and then continues to climb upto about 2800-3000rpms. i release the clutch and the rpms just stay right there. any suggestion what the problem maybe? and if you know what it is how to fix it?

also what is the easiest way to get the oil filter out? i must say that was a big design error on nissan's part.

also i was ceaning out the interior and what not. as i was doing this some how i did something to the clock and now it will not display a time. i diddnt use any liquids to clean my dash or anything just a dust cloth and then a meguires dash cloth to give it a cleaner shinyer look. any ideas what i did or how to fix would be great.

oh yeah just by doing the oil change and cleaning out the interior i know i alot of work ahead of me. there is quite the list of thing the previous owner(s) diddnt do or diddnt do properly.thanks ryan:help

how much oil did you put in?

SOunds like you may have unplugged something. Make sure the TPS is plugged in good.
