I have used the search feature and seen the offset that I need for rims. Well the question which I had a little trouble finding out was would 19X8 w. a 40 offset rub. Tires.com recommends 245/40-19 for the tire and tirerack.com recommends 245/35-19, which would be the ideal tire to choose. Now here are my two choices are

I plan to run an 8.5" wide wheel with a +40ish offset and from what I've gathered, it's nice place to start. I've been told a +35 on an 8.5" wheel will sit flush so the extra 5mm should tuck it in ever so slightly.

As for the tire profile, correct me if I'm wrong, the stock tire is 26.311" in diameter doing the math and conversion. The 245/40 will yield a 26.71 diameter while the 245/35 will give you 25.75 inches. I'd go with the 245/40/19 simply because it will give you more rubber and a slightly better ride. It'll also fill in those gaps a touch. A 235/40 will get you right there…

Oh, liking the 2nd one… Just a little cleaner.
